Qualifications
Towards the end of 2024, portfolio administrator, Andrea Ockhuis, decided to delve deeper into wealth management by undertaking and passing her Post-graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Congratulations, Andrea! This is a truly inspirational achievement. Articled financial planner, Taylor Wyatt-Smith, also pushed himself to his limit by writing his board exams in December 2024. Well done for passing, Taylor! We are very proud of your hard work and determination.
Personal achievements
Jen and Justice received the biggest Christmas gift of their lives when their little baby girl, Illiana, was born on 26 December. Courtney and Navarone welcomed their bundle of joy, Amy Luna, to their family on 5 May. May these two pink-cheeked baby girls bring you and your families endless love and happiness!
Practice updates
We’re pleased to share some exciting news from within the business.
Congratulations to Lindsay Frost, who was appointed as a director last year and will now take on the role of chief operating officer (COO). Lindsay will lead our internal operations and play a key role in strengthening the systems and structures that support our work.
Cameron (managing director) will assume overall responsibility for the business going forward with the support of Morné (director). They will continue in their leadership roles, as they have since 2019, providing continuity and strategic oversight while supporting Lindsay in her new role.
Ian remains chairman of the board, but steps back into a non-executive director role as he continues his transition into semi-retirement giving himself more space away from the business, while still adding valuable insights as needed. We’re grateful for his enduring guidance and wish him well in this new chapter.
