New arrivals
It’s been a season of joyful new beginnings for the Netto family.
Matt, Liz and big sister, Everly, welcomed dear baby Ida on 8 May, while Michael and Rozané welcomed their darling daughter, Emily, on 25 May. Congratulations to both families on these precious additions. We wish you many happy moments, treasured memories and endless love as you embark on this wonderful new chapter.
A special celebration
Congratulations to Annuschka and Neil, who tied the knot on 28 March. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, happiness and many wonderful adventures together.
Challenge accepted
After months of dedication and training, Elzé successfully completed her first HYROX challenge on 14 August. An incredible achievement that reflects her determination, resilience and commitment. Well done, Elzé!
Office Activities
Mandela Day 2026
This Mandela Day, our team embraced the spirit of giving back through three meaningful 67-minute initiatives. We packed Buckets of Love for Ladles of Love, supported the wonderful work of 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day and joined efforts to help clean up the Pinelands community.
These acts of service served as a reminder that meaningful change often starts with small, intentional actions. By giving a little of our time and energy, we can make a positive difference in the lives of others and contribute to stronger, more connected communities.
Supplier Appreciation Event
On 31 July, we had the chance to spend quality time with some of the valued suppliers who play an important role in supporting our business every day. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships, share conversations face to face and express our appreciation for the partnerships that help us deliver the service and expertise our clients have come to expect.
Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) Support Activities
During July and August, members of our team partnered with the FPI to support several financial literacy initiatives for MyMoney123 consumers, listeners of Zibonele FM and students at STADIO Higher Education.
While we had the privilege of sharing knowledge and practical financial guidance, these engagements also provided valuable opportunities for learning and meaningful connection. Being able to contribute to greater financial awareness remains an important and rewarding part of what we do.

We were delighted to launch our new podcast, Conversations that Compound, in August.
In our first episode, we reflected on the history of Netto Invest, revisiting the milestones and experiences that helped shape our business over the years. As the series evolves, we will be broadening the conversation and welcoming respected voices from the wider financial services industry. By sharing diverse perspectives, insights and experiences, we aim to explore the ideas shaping our profession and provide valuable conversations for clients, colleagues and industry peers alike.
